Condition assessment of existing buildings — visual and instrumented survey of the frame, identification of distress in columns, beams and slabs, assessment of residual load-carrying capacity, and a written report setting out repair, retrofit or strengthening measures with priorities. Undertaken for ageing structures, before change of use or added floors, and where statutory audit is required.
